Milestones on the road to dignity and independence — since 2013

What began as the shared concern of a few parents has grown into a thriving centre changing lives every day. Here are some of the moments that have shaped Nav Prabhuthi Trust.

  1. 2013

    Vocational Unit Begins

    Nav Prabhuthi Trust starts its vocational unit, laying the foundation for structured skills training for young adults with autism.

  2. 2014

    Tharangini Studios Collaboration

    Training begins in collaboration with Tharangini Studios, followed by our first printing project for AMBA — the Susie skirt.

  3. 2016

    New Home in Basaveshwaranagar

    The centre shifts to Basaveshwaranagar, giving trainees a dedicated space to grow their vocational skills.

  4. 2017

    India Inclusion Summit & MESH

    NPT participates in the India Inclusion Summit 2017, and begins a collaboration with MESH to widen its reach and impact.

  5. 2018

    Discharge Printing & GAC Conference

    The Inner Wheel team walks the ramp at the GAC Conference in a saree printed by our trainees, the same year NPT designs a new discharge-printing technique.

  6. 2019

    Reaching the Community

    NPT raises awareness at the Big Bazaar event and hosts its first open house, showcasing NPT products to the community.

  7. 2021

    Sanitiser Bag Distribution

    With support from Rotary Bangalore West, NPT trainees produce and distribute 1,000 sanitiser bags during the pandemic.

  8. 2022

    Glorifarm Botanicals Partnership

    A two-year collaboration begins with Glorifarm Botanicals, marked by a team visit to the centre.

  9. 2023

    Metta Muse & AWAKE Programme

    NPT delivers 1,500 customised pouches for the Metta Muse project, while the AWAKE entrepreneurship programme empowers mothers of our trainees.

  10. 2024

    LURU Magazine Project

    NPT's work is featured through the LURU magazine project, sharing our trainees' journeys with a wider audience.

    Celebrating Our Trainees

    Annual Day celebrations showcase our trainees' handmade products and talents to community leaders and donors — a cherished highlight of life at the centre.
